Dechen Shak-Dagsay has been singing for over two decades with her unique voice and deep-rooted spirituality into the hearts of people all over the world. The Swiss-Tibetan singer and author has lived in Switzerland since she was a child and is the eldest daughter of the venerable Dagsay Rinpoche, a Tibetan lama from whom she learned Buddhist philosophy and the wisdom of mantras at an early age. Dechen is known for her unconventional approach to translating ancient Tibetan mantras into modern times and making their messages accessible.

In her current concert series, Road to Harmony, Dechen, together with the musicians of the Jewel Ensemble, presents her new album of the same name, which will be released in early summer 2025. This collection of mantras and songs, created together with her long-time producer Helge van Dyk, is designed to help people in our noisy and often volatile world to find harmony again with themselves, their environment and nature. Her songs are an invitation to let go of the daily grind and surrender to the powerful, healing effect of her music. Dechen Shak-Dagsay is an impressive example of someone who builds bridges between different worlds and people, inviting her audience to join her on a journey towards inner peace and harmony.
