We have been singing together for over 10 years.

Fully experiencing life, discovering our common potential. In moments of ABUNDANCE and LACK – we hear each other from near and far, and the songs lead us to each other.

Artists, visionaries, individualists, travelers. Women carrying echoes of old times, melodies of our ancestors, standing in the ABUNDANCE of courage and power to create new vibrations – free, intuitive, healing.

ABUNDANCE is the richness resulting from completeness, embracing the polyphonic paths of life, sometimes difficult and painful. The alchemy of sound teaches us to let go and accept, and sometimes to go through fire together – to stand in our inner strength, the power of laughter and the magic of sisterhood.

Just as traditional songs used to accompany people in many moments of life in the past, also for us throughout all these years one thing has not changed – we sing. We mature together with the songs that give direction to our path. It is a great honor to be able to share them with the world.

Laboratorium Pieśni – Song Laboratory (world / mystic folk / spiritual / medicine music) is a female singing group from Poland. Using traditional, polyphonic singing, they perform root songs of different cultures around the World, such as Ukrainian, Balkan, Georgian, Belarusian, and also tribes, for example Cherokee, Lakota, Yoruba, as well as own wild intuitive compositions in imagined languages. They sing a capella and in own arrangements with shaman drums and other ethnic instruments, such as shruti box, flutes, kalimba, zaphir and koshi chimes, rattles etc., creating a new space in a traditional song, adding voice improvisations, inspired by sounds of nature, often wild and feminine.

Albums of the group titled: “Rasti” and “Hé oyáte” where nominated to most important music award in Poland – the Fryderyk Award (in 2020 and 2024), in the category of Album of the year – World music. The music video of Laboratorium Pieśni with Belarusian song “Sztoj pa moru” has reached over 15 million views on Youtube, and the group is followed by more than 155 thousand fans on Facebook. Laboratorium Pieśni has also collaborated with Polish valued musicians and artitsts, for example participated in music recordings composed by Łukasz L.U.C. Rostkowski to a painted film “The Peasants” – a Polish candidate to Oscar award. The group has already visited 20 countries with concerts and workshops (such as: USA, India, Switzerland, Japan, Spain, Israel, Iceland, Denmark, The Netherlands, France, United Kingdom).
