Formed by artists from Norway, Mexico, and Argentina, Curawaka brings a rich cultural tapestry to the stage. Led by vocalist and songwriter Anna Bariyani, Curawaka’s breakthrough album Call of the Wild introduced fan-favorite anthems like Noku Mana, Te Nande, and He Yama Yo, earning the group international acclaim across conscious social movements as well as global music stages. Their long-awaited follow-up album, Dreamtime (2023), expands their sonic palette with lush arrangements and collaborations from across the globe — solidifying their place as pioneers in the genre.
Since 2019, Curawaka have toured extensively across Europe and Latin America, performing in countries almost all countries in Europe, as well as Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Inonesia. Their successful Dreamtime Tour in 2023 and Roots & Horizons Tour in 2024–25 marked significant growth for the band, including headline performances at renowned venues and festivals across the continents. In 2026, Curawaka continue this expansion with headline festival performances in the UK, Portugal and Iceland, alongside their first-ever USA tour in autumn 2026, responding to many years of requests from their growing US fanbase.
